When an animal or bird is detected the spray away activates, releasing 3 seconds of water from your garden hose. The sudden noise, motion and water spray scares animal away. The water spray then pauses for 8 seconds before resuming sensor operations. This creates an element of randomness and unpredictability to prevent animals from becoming accustomed to the spray away. The sprinkler is able to accurately direct water up to 35 feet (10M) to protect a 1000square feet (90 square metre ) area.
