How do I remove a grey squirrel from my loft or attic space without harming the squirrel ?

First find where the squirrel is entering your loft space, it's normally through a hole in the soffit board or a gap between the slates and the barge board just behind the gutter. Don't fill or block off the hole untill you're certain your squirrel's not in residence, it'll only make some more hole's to get back out or might die of starvation trying to escape, ruining your underfelt or possibly chewing through your wiring in it's frantic search for an escape route

Setting The Trap Man Squirrel Trap. Place thumb on lever to right of cage (cage door facing you) press firmly down this will unlock and open door  Place you left hand inside the door opening and grasp the setting rod attatched to the treadle, place the end of the setting rod just through the open part at the base of the door, remove your left hand and  release pressure on the spring with your right thumb. The door should be suspended by the setting bar
The trap is now set and requires baiting  just behind the treadle or on the treadle itself, you can use peanut butter, snicker bar, nuttella, chocolate or even dry cat food works too. Place a paper clip on the edge of the treadle to hold dry food on or stop moist food being licked off
Raise the carrying handle clear  of the trap to prevent your fingers being bitten by the captured animal
