Here we have it, 200 Water Vole Traps ready to go. I would like to say it has been a labour of love but after hand clipping 7000 clips we, here at TrapMan, were happy to wave them off.

These traps will be used in the conservation of Water Voles (arvicla amphibius) in the UK. Working to a customers design and following licencing guidelines on the trapping of these wonderful animals, who sadly are on the endangered species list.

It has been a great project to be a part of but we won’t lie to you, we are happy to see the back of them! We do wish our customer all the best in their conservation work.

Watch us Hard at Work

Today we’ve had a lesson in how to use a tool until the very last inch of its life. That’s right it has been all hands on deck this week even the boss has been on the shop floor! He’s been using a grinder until the disc was silky smooth to get the most out of it, we suspect he even double dips tea bags.

On a more serious note, here at TrapMan we pride ourselves on quality. We work tirelessly to ensure we are making the best products for you.

As you can see we are using our own clips and tools to hand clip treadles onto one of our projects. Yes its time consuming but we do this to ensure our products are well made and built to last.
