I would just like to thank you for your help and advice about your traps. We. had two traps out for eight months and only caught two squirrel, as they were really hard to set won’t mention the make. I swapped over to yours and caught four squirrels in three days , as they are so easy to set and with your advice about baiting. The KS very much would highly recommend these traps to anyone. I bought a squirrel trap from you on 2 January 1981 – invoice No. ******.
After a few false starts, we caught our first squirrel and 4 more over the last 3 weeks. Very successful.
However, we now have a problem. The birds have got wise to all this and the small ones ( blue tits ) now get straight through the mesh at the back and sides and steal every nut we put in – without springing the trap. Short of wrapping the whole trap in fine chicken wire, we cannot bait the trap now and the squirrels ignore it.
Any suggestions please ?

Thanks am putting out the trap again today just in case will then block hole tomorrow – v perilous cos is on top of london V roof pinnacle and windy as anything involving belly crawl across slates and i have arthritis in joints despite young age! V pleased to have got rid of pesky thieving squirrel however a huge success -)

I received the squirrel trap yesterday and am very pleased with the quality. It is of a much higher standard than I was expecting.
Certainly a 5 star product.
The explanation on your web site concerning the trap and the legal requirements about usage were very comprehensive.
I have lost a number of bedding plants which have been dug up when peanuts have been planted and crocus corms have provided the pests with healthy meals!

Last backend we purchased a squirrel trap from you as we regularly had 1 or 2 squirrels in our garden taking large quantities of the bird food.

Just a couple of things:- 1/ The number has gone up from 15 to 17.
2/ When we started we got through a jar and a half of peanut butter with no joy.
When we started baiting with sunflower seeds we had success.
I put a pile behind the tread plate,(never mind if a few spill out) and then sprinkle a few the length of the trap and put a few outside the gate.
I find early morning is the time they come, first light, and try to make sure they don’t remain in the trap many minutes.
One thing that helps us is that our garden is like a forest, planted before we bought it.

Just a note to say that I’m very impressed with the quality and performance of both the squirrel cage trap and the Fenn trap cage – I caught one in each within about half an hour this afternoon.
The Fenn cage is particularly good because it gets a clean kill every time. I have been using the Fenn in a tunnel trap but it doesn’t always kill cleanly. This design of cage is a great improvement on the tunnel.

I recently bought a squirrel trap from you and just wanted to say how pleased I am with it. Every day that I set it and leave it out I trap a squirrel without fail. I have even caught two in one day. It seems they can’t resist sunflower hearts and hanging around near our bird feeding stations. As we are overrun with grey squirrels here I have just ordered another trap.
