The TrapMan fox trap has a guillotine style free fall door and can be set using ether a treadle or pull bait, both provided with the trap.
The fox enterers the trap to get at the bait, and it will either tread on a trigger plate or by pulling at the bait, release a pin which in turn triggers the sliding door.
The main advantage of having a guillotine door is that it utilizes the full length of the trap many traps on the market are the same length but the door works inside the cage meaning only three quarters of the cage is used.

Dear Sirs,
I purchased one on your traps some time ago for my business East Kent fox control, what a fantastic bit of kit it is too.
I have to say it’s making a huge dent in the number of foxes in the area, it’s regularly used on jobs and never failed to deliver.
Kind Regards

Hi ,
Can I start off by thanking you for the pack of clips that you quickly sent to me.
After our communications last week I took a closer look at your web site and the instructional video.
It then dawned on me that it possibly had not been updated for some time.
I had been concentrating so hard to hear the instructions and watching the assembly,Completely missed the bit at the top about it’s an OLDER model
I realise now that my trap is supposed to have an outside opening bait door, because I can’t turn the end panel round due to its construction.
That only left the door to be secured to prevent further breakouts.
Two small padlocks solved that and baited up with chicken flavoured.Bonio’s produced 2 foxes over the weekend.
My landowner was impressed and delighted as no doubt more will follow in due course.
We got there in the end, many thanks,
Regards,
Chris

Thanks Andrew that’s great, I used a smooth length of cord last night which did the trick temporarily.
I’ve attached a couple of photos of the trap made up, do you think it looks ‘inviting’ to a fox or have I tried to disguise it too much?
I’ve used dog biscuits as this is what they’ve come into the garden for so are used to them.
I’m trying to catch one with a snare caught round it’s back end that needs removing. If I can get it in there I can help it.
Thanks
