Larsen traps, side entry larsen traps, top entry larsen traps, crow traps, magpie traps. Larsen traps are used for catching members of the Corvid or crow family ( magpies, crows, jays, jackdaws and rooks) and are particularly effective in catching magpies. The Larsen trap was designed in the 1950s and is now available in many different designs, We make three types of larsen traps. Larsen trap as pictured below is more suited to catching magpies and our side entry twin capture Crow Trap is a good for catching crows, jays, jackdaws & rooks. Our Larsen trap / Crow trap combination is excellent for either catching magpies and within a few second converting the same trap, it will catch crows, rooks, jays and jackdaws.
